APC Won Presidency Clean & Clear – APC National Chairman

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Adamu, has congratulated all that made it to elective positions at the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections, describing them as the new team Nigeria.

Being a team, he told them that the burden of Nigeria’s peace unity, and development would be on their shoulders.

Adamu, though admitted that the elections weren’t spotless, but added that his party won the presidential poll clean and clear.

Senator Adamu further stated that there was never anywhere in the world where elections were perfect.

He noted that they promised free, fair, and credible elections and that was what they gave to Nigerians.

The APC boss made this known on Monday Night as he was speaking during the parley of the ruling party’s National Working Committee with the elected officials, including the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Kashim Shettima, his Second.

According to him: “I very heartily congratulate all the distinguished men and women elected. I salute you all. You’re the new team Nigeria. From May 29 this year, the burden of our national unity, peace, and development will rest on your shoulders as a team.

“It’s fair and honourable to admit that the Feb. 25 elections were not perfect. We didn’t set out to conduct perfect elections.

“World history has no instances of perfect elections. Like all other democratic nations, we set out to conduct free, fair, and credible elections. This we did.

“From the results of Feb. 25, 2023, general elections announced so far by the electoral umpire, INEC, the APC won the presidency, clean and clear, and a majority in both chambers of the National Assembly.”
