We Won’t Waste Anytime On You Again – Fani-Kayode Blasts Obidients

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has stated that the OBIdient movement is no longer politically relevant.

The movement had supported Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate who was placed third in the 2023 presidential election results, behind Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Fani-Kayode made this comment using his personal Twitter account, citing comments made by Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka and Information Minister, Lai Mohammed as evidence that the APC’s position on the Obidient movement had been justified.

“Our reverred Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka and our dear brother Lai Mohammed have spoken.

“They have confirmed our concerns and vindicated our position,” he further said.

The APC chieftain stated that his party would not waste time any more in responding to them, pointing out that they would henceforth “scream and shout like a headless chicken in the throes of death.”

“The Obidient movement is spritually and mortally wounded and politically dead. Thanks be to the Living God. We need waste no more time on them.

“They have found themselves in the merciless grip of karma as they slip quietly into the eternal darkness and burning fire of Gehanna, Sheol and Hades where they shall meet Shaitan, their lord and master.

“RIP Obidiots: history will judge you harshly,” he said
