The Labour Party, LP, has reportedly emerged victorious in Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Local Government Area.
Governor Ugwuanyi’s ruling party in the state, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, which has Peter Mbah as its guber candidate lost the election in Udenu LGA.
Unfortunately, the Governor and Ifeanyi Ossia, his second, hail from the same local government, but suffered defeat in Saturday’s election.
The results as released by the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, shows that Labour Party polled 11,315 votes while the PDP secured 10,148.
Meanwhile, some Nigerians on the social media have given some funny reactions to the development.
Engineer Nedum Hyacinth, who reacted to the development told Governor Ugwuanyi to remember to carry his Ebubeagu along with him while leaving.

Ebubeagu is a regional security outfit created by South Eastern Governors for security of the people of South East.
However, there have been allegations that the security outfit is doing the opposite of what it was intended for in the region.
