An old woman known as Angelina Okorie who struggled to the polling unit, has expressed her support for the candidacy of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP.
She stated that she strongly believed in Obi’s candidacy, pointing out that the LP presidential candidate would perform better as Nigeria’s President than other candidates.
The octogenarian admitted that she didn’t know Obi, but noted that people had been speaking well of him.
She was allowed to jump the queue to cast her votes owing to her condition.
The statement by the woman as released by the Whistler, reads: “I don’t even know Obi and some of the other candidates I voted for. But I believe Obi will win and he is better than others.
“People are saying that Obi is a good man and he will help the country.
“We need a person that will help us and Obi is the candidate that will do it.
