Tinubu Will Fix Nigeria; Let’s Pray For Him – Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called for prayers for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s “President-elect” who he said had promised to fix the country.

He assured that the country would prosper if God helped the incoming administration by giving them the grace to do the right thing.

Adeboye made this statement through one of his Pastors, Dele Balogun, who represented him at the monthly thanksgiving service of the church which took place at the headquarters of RCCG in Ebute-Metta, Lagos State.

According to him: “Let us pray for the incoming government that God will support it and give it the Grace to do the right thing.

“Thank God the President-elect has promised to fix Nigeria. If God helps him, Nigeria will prosper in his hands.”

Tinubu’s “victory” at the 2023 presidential election has been a subject of controversy after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, failed to abide by its guidelines for the presidential election by uploading results on the server directly from the polling units as promised Nigerians prior to the election.

This and other matters arising from the presidential election, including the failure of Tinubu to secure 25% votes in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, as required by the law, have dominated political discourse since the election.

Meanwhile, the major opposition political parties at the election have taken to the Presidential election tribunal to challenge Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the polls by the electoral body.

Pre-hearing of the case commenced on 8th May, 2023.
