In response to recent allegations suggesting that Sweden had become the first country to acknowledge sex as a sport, Swedish authorities have vehemently denied these claims, labeling them as false and unfounded. Anna Setzman, the spokesperson for the Swedish Sports Confederation, issued a written statement addressing the matter, stating that the reports were intentionally spreading misinformation in an attempt to discredit Swedish sports and the nation itself.
Addressing the issue, Setzman emphasized that certain sections of the international media had been disseminating news suggesting the inclusion of a sex federation within the Swedish Sports Confederation. However, she clarified that this information was entirely baseless.
According to her: “It is false information with the aim of smearing Swedish sports and Sweden.”
“The Swedish Sports Confederation has drawn attention to the fact that in some parts of the international media, the news is currently being spread that a sex federation has become a member of the Swedish Sports Confederation,” She said.”
It has come to light that Dragan Bratic, reportedly the owner of several strip clubs, harbored the desire to have sex officially recognized as a sport. To pursue this goal, he submitted an application in January to become a member of the Swedish Sports Confederation. However, Setzman’s recent statement confirmed that no such Sex Federation exists as a member within the Swedish Sports Confederation.
