A popular Nigerian singer, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, commonly called ‘Simi’ has described as silly, the use of people’s financial situation and age to insult them.
She stated that it’s insulting to belittle one’s financial situation, saying it was a demonstration of lack of ingenuity and brains.
Simi advocated use of smartness and creativity to put people in their place.
She stated this in a post on her Instagram account.
According to her: “If you really want to diss someone and you go to the age thing like “You are so old”, you are actually silly.
“The only way you’re not getting to that point is if you’re no longer here, lol.
“ Also money; “you are broke”. It is also silly and embarrassing to not be able to creatively and smartly put someone in their place.”
